Dave is a CIPFA qualified accountant and was Senior Finance Manager in Stockton responsible for finance within Children’s, Adults and Community Services. Dave was also the Finance Lead on Stockton’s Schools’ Forum.
Paul is currently CEO of a 21 school Primary MAT covering 8 Local Authorities across the North-East of England. Paul was previously the Diocesan Director of Education for the Diocese of Durham and Newcastle with strategic oversight of 107 schools.
Emma is an experienced Primary Headteacher of two schools in Sunderland with the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership. In addition to education, her executive board experience also includes governance in the charity sector.
Penelope is a CIPFA-qualified accountant and finance consultant with extensive experience driving Finance and IT transformation initiatives across the public and private sectors. She specialises in supporting her clients in optimising financial operations and aligning technology strategies to achieve organisational goals.
Peter is an experienced Senior Engineer who has worked for some of the biggest Industries in the UK. The industries include British Steel, SSI, Fujifilm, INEOS, Sembcorp and more recently Teesworks. Peter also has a passion for sport particularly football, golf and Padel.
Alison is an ex-headteacher, currently CEO of ACT Academy Trust a medium sized multi-academy trust based in Cambridgeshire.
Previously served as Trustee and most recently, Chair of Trustees at Ad Astra Academy Trust and was also a former teacher and school governor within Hartlepool. Also served as a Hartlepool councillor for nine years including time as Chair of the Children’s Services committee. A key figure in Hartlepool Youth Choir and was also vice-chair of the British Federation of Young Choirs, and President and then vice-president of the European Federation of Choirs for six years.
National Advocate for Cancer Research UK and Breast Cancer Care; holds a Diploma in Management Studies.
Chartered Management Accountant and currently Commercial Finance Director of the Catalyst Technologies Business of Johnson Matthey PLC.
Craig is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer in matters of governance and statutory compliance.
Our Patrons have no governance role within the Trust, but they are advocates for our work and a source of guidance when needed for Trustees and the central team.
Our Resources Committee oversee Finance, HR, Audit and Risk and Estates.
