Maths Lead – TLR2C (£3,527 per annum) To commence 1st January 2026, fixed-term until 31st August 2026
The school is seeking to appoint a dynamic, and highly motivated individual to become the Maths Lead on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2026.
This post is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to have experience of working in a core subject leadership role. The right candidate will be an exceptional, passionate teacher who can lead by example. They will have the ability to inspire, motivate and support our pupils and staff and have a track record of raising standards and making an impact on teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have the ability to coach and mentor members of the team in order to drive standards within maths. They will also have an understanding of school improvement strategies, together with experience of leading curriculum developments.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their skills and experience that they will bring to the post. The successful candidate will need:
- Secure knowledge & understanding of key concepts relating to the maths specialism of the role.
- Evidence of effective leadership of a subject, or aspect across the whole school.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Experience of coaching and/or mentoring staff.
